Can I be on my parents car insurance if the auto is in my name?

When creating a policy for auto insurance, the policy must be in the name of the insured on the policy. The drivers of the auto must be listed on that policy as well, and live in the same household.
If you are not the titled user on the auto, you can not take out an insurance policy for said auto because you have no insurable interest.
