The agent will then add the SR-22 to your policy, which generally costs around $20 per term. 

It is often questioned whether the SR-22 increases the policy cost. The SR-22 itself does not raise the policy cost beyond the $20 filing fee. However, the policy may increase due to the infraction on your driving record, with the actual cost depending on the severity of the infraction.
